Description
Fritillaria Persica Ivory Bells. Fully hardy. Perennial. These magnificent plants do prefer a sunny location, a couple of hours shade during early to mid afternoon will help to prolong the flowering period. Drainage is an important factor: the bulbs are made up of fleshy scales and can be prone to rotting if sitting in water, add some sharp sand to your soil when planting.

Planting Guide
Plant: September-November. 20 cm deep. Spacing 45 cm. Flowers April-May. Height 75 -100 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Needs full sun or light shade, with well-drained fertile soil. Ideal for the herbaceous or mixed border, can also be grown in large containers. When planting add sharp sand to the bottom of the hole for extra drainage. Feed with a slow release fertilizer during the growing season.
Propagate: By dividing overcrowded clumps in summer, store in a cool dark place and replant in the autumn.
