Description
Zantedeschia ‘Captain Beretta’.® Half Hardy, Perennial. Dark purple blooms that are nearly black create a stunning contrast against the lush, mottled green foliage. This plant thrives beautifully in large pots or containers, but if you choose to plant it directly in the ground, just ensure the soil is well-drained and that it’s shielded from frost.

Planting Guide
Plant: April. 8 cm deep. Spacing 45 cm. Flowers June-September. Height 45 – 55 cm.
Frost tender. Perennial. Full sun is essential, as is moist humus-rich soil. For best results start in pots that are no less than 4 lts. in size. Do not water-in after planting. Once the bulb has rooted water and feed generously using a slow release fertilizer. If growing in the ground remove from pots once the foliage has appeared, find a sunny location that has good drainage. Cover over with a good blanket of compost during the winter months.
