Polianthes Chia Nong – Super Gold. Half hardy, Frost Tender. Perennial. Best grown in a greenhouse, conservatory or as a houseplant. Polianthes were very popular in Victorian times – the pure waxy blooms fill the air with fragrance. A beautiful plant to grow.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-April, with 2-3 cm of soil on top of the bulb. Spacing 12cm. Flowers August-Sept. Height 90cm.
Frost tender. Perennial. Best grown in the conservatory or in a greenhouse, otherwise needs a sheltered position in full sun, with well-drained soil. Feed with a liquid fertiliser every 2 weeks when in growth. They will produce waxy blooms late summer that will fill the air with fragrance.
Propagation: Divide overcrowded clumps. remove offsets during spring and replant
