Description
Ligularia, Othello. Hardy. Perennial. This plant needs plenty of moisture, ideal for a bog garden but is equally happy where the ground is slightly damp in a partially shaded area. Can also be grown in pots where they can catch a little morning or late afternoon sun. The foliage is attractively large and rounded, the golden yellow flowers bloom throughout July and August.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-April with 2 cm of soil on top of the crown. Spacing 3ft. Height 80 cm. Flowers July-August.
Hardy. Perennial. Prefers light sun to full shade. Plant in a hole large enough to firmly hold the roots, cover with well rotted manure or rich moisture retaining soil/compost. Needs plenty of moisture. Perfect for those damp shaded areas in the garden. Water regularly during periods of drought.
Propagation: Divide over crowded clumps every 3-4 years.
