Freesia Single Flowering Half hardy. Perennial. These varieties can be grown outside but will perform extremely well in a large container in the greenhouse or conservatory. If growing outdoors they need well-drained soil in a sunny spot, away from harsh wind. Freesias are very fragrant and highly prized by florist.

Frost Tender. Perennial. It is always best to start your Freesia bulbs off in pots before planting out. Pointed part is the top of the bulb. Requires a warm, sunny position with well drained soil. These are not so hardy so will need
protecting over winter.
Propagate by lifting and separating the corms in winter, store in a cool dark dry environment and replant in the spring.
