Description
Allium Gladiator. This giant Allium grows to a magnificent 125cm (4ft) in height, flowers during the month of June. They look fantastic on their own or in the herbaceous border. Another plant that can be grown with these is the Allium Giganteum which is slightly taller by 1ft, also Eremurus (foxtail lilies) as they flower at the same time, these plants together can produce a magnificent display. All Allium are very easy to grow they are like little balls of magic. you just pop them in and up they come.

How to Grow Allium Gladiator Bulbs
Plant: Late September – Late November, three times the depth of the bulb. Spacing 25-30 cm.
Flowers June. Flower Height 125 cm
Hardy. Perennial. Needs well-drained, fertile soil. Full sun or half shade. Feed with a slow release fertilizer. Ideal for borders, if growing a containers, make sure the bulbs have plenty of root space and feed with a slow release liquid fertilizer, Growmore is ideal.
Propagate: When bulbs are overcrowded, lift once the flower stem has dried out and comes away from the bulbs easily. Separate the bulbs and store in a cool dark place, replant in the autumn.
