Description
Allium Flavum. A unique allium that flowers slighter later than the more common uniform types. Bears bright yellow flowers on slender stems. The foliage will die off when in flower so would be ideal to grow amongst other plants.

Planting Guide
Plant: Late September to late November. 8 cm deep. Spacing 5-10 cm. Flowers June. Flower Height 30-40 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Needs well-drained, fertile soil. Full sun or half shade. Feed with a slow release fertilizer. Ideal for borders, if growing in containers, make sure the bulbs have plenty of root space and feed with a slow release liquid feed, Growmore is ideal.
Propagate by lifting overcrowded clumps in late July, divide the bulbs, store in a cool dark place and replant in the autumn.
