Description
Dicentra Spectabilis Alba. Full sun or partial shade is needed with moist but humus rich, well drained soil. Also known as’ bleeding heart’ for their distinct flowers drooping from slender stems above fern like foliage. Once finished flowering the foliage will start to die back so best to grow amongst other summer flowers plants.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-April with 2 cm of soil of top of the crown. Spacing 1 to 2 ft. Flowers May-June. Height 60-100cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Partial shade with well-drained soil is needed. Dig a hole around 1 ft deep; create a cone of soil in the middle, place the crown of the root on top of the cone, spreading the roots over the cone and backfill. You need 2 cm of soil on top of the crown, add 4 cm of mulch and water thoroughly.
Propagation: Divide overcrowded clumps every 3 to 4 years.
