Plant: Horizontally. 5 cm deep. September-March. Spacing 10 cm. Flowers March-May. Height 10 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Being a woodland plant this plant prefers light shade with well-drained humus rich soil, a bucket of leaf mould can be worked into the soil before planting, be sure to avoid any rich fertilizers such as manure or rich feeds. These woodland plants once settled will spread vigorously forming a carpet of flowers.
Propagate by dividing mature clumps in the autumn.
