Description
Ornithogalum arabican. Perennial. Needs to be grown in a sheltered site in full sun with well-drained fertile soil. They are Perfect for planting in mixed borders, pots and containers. The flowers are star shaped, borne in dense clusters on stems 45cm tall. The flowers are sweetly scented. Ornithogalum are one of the longest lasting cut flowers available and are widely used by florists. Native habitat: South Africa.

Planting Guide
Plant: Autumn or Spring. 5 cm of soil on top of the bulb. Spacing 10-15 cm. Flowers May-June. Height 30-45cm.
Perennial. Can be grown in full sun or partial shade, well-drained soil is needed. Feed with a slow release fertilizer during growing season. They look great in pots and containers as well as in the ground. Perfect for cut flowers, long lasting. Protect over the winter months lift bulbs or mulch.
Propagation: Divide over crowded clumps in summer.
