Description
Colocasia Black Coral. Also known as Elephants ears. Frost tender, perennial. Clump forming. This variety is happy in a sunny location. An excellent addition to any garden. A thirsty plant so plenty of water is needed. These bulbs produces enormous magnificent foliage. They will die down during winter if left outside, but will return when the weather warms up again. You can keep them going by bringing them into a frost-free environment. Great fun to grow; worth every penny, fantastic.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-April. 7-10 cm soil on top of the bulb. Grows all summer long. Height 80-100 cm.
Frost tender. Perennial. Grow these bulbs in a very large pot at least 15-20 ltr. Water in with lukewarm water, the bulb will take several weeks before any growth starts to show. Once growing plenty of water is needed every 3-4 days. They can be planted in the ground, a sheltered site is necessary with at least a half days sun. Mulch over in winter.
Propagation: When pot is deeply overcrowded, you can put a garden spade through the middle of the plant, split and replant.
