Plant: March-April. 7-10 cm soil on top of the bulb. Grows all summer long. Height 80-100 cm.
Frost tender. Perennial. Grow these bulbs in a very large pot at least 15-20 ltr. Water in with lukewarm water, the bulb will take several weeks before any growth starts to show. Once growing plenty of water is needed every 3-4 days. They can be planted in the ground, a sheltered site is necessary with dappled to full shade. Mulch over in winter.
Propagation: When pot is deeply overcrowded, you can put a garden spade through the middle of the plant, split and replant.
