Description
Allium Silver Spring. Perennial. The flower-head is made up of hundreds of white florets complimented by pale pink sweet-scented stamens. At the centre are shiny purple seed pods that gleam beautifully. Grows to a height of 70-90 cm during the month of June, perfect for the herbaceous border or as a centrepiece in flowerbeds.

Plating Guide
Plant: late September – November. 10cm deep. Spacing 25cm. Flowers May-June. Flower height 70-90cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Needs well-drained, fertile soil. Full sun or half shade. Feed with a slow release fertilizer. Ideal for borders, if growing in containers, make sure the bulbs have plenty of root space and feed with a slow release liquid feed, Growmore is ideal.
Propagate: When bulbs are overcrowded, lift once the flower stem has dried out and comes away from the bulbs easily. Separate the bulbs and store in a cool dark place, replant in the autumn.
