Description
Allium Universe. Hardy, perennial. This allium has a massive bloom, anywhere from 18 to 22 cm in diameter. The spherical purple bloom, made up of an abundance of star-shaped flowers, is borne on a strong stem stretching to a height of 80 – 90 cm, flowers during June and July. A fabulous addition to any garden.

Planting Guide
Plant: Late September – Late November, three times the depth of the bulb. Spacing 25-30 cm. Flowers June – July. Flower Height 80 – 90 cm
Hardy. Perennial. Needs well-drained, fertile soil. Full sun or half shade. Feed with a slow release fertilizer. Ideal for borders, if growing a containers, make sure the bulbs have plenty of root space and feed with a slow release liquid fertilizer, Growmore is ideal.
Propagate: When bulbs are overcrowded, lift once the flower stem has dried out and comes away from the bulbs easily. Separate the bulbs and store in a cool dark place, replant in the autumn.
