Agapanthus Albiflora. Frost-hardy. Evergreen, clump forming perennial. This white Agapanthus needs a warm spot with plenty of sun along with well-drained sandy soil. Agapanthus will produce an abundance of flower when root bound; pots and containers will create this environment. Naturally Agapanthus are found growing in the mountainous regions of the western cape, thriving amongst rocks and sandy soil. Africanus was the first species collected in South Africa, named in 1679 Hyacinthus Africanus Tuberosus, entered European gardens in the late seventeenth century and is now one of the most loved garden plants throughout the world. Produces glossy green foliage all year round and eye catching showy ball-like flowers during the months of July to September.

Plant late March-May 10cm deep. Spacing 45cm. Flowers July to September. Height 70-100cm.
Frost hardy. Clump forming perennial. This pant needs a warm spot with plenty of sun along with well-drained sandy soil. Use a John Innes number 2 or 3 and feed during the growing season with a balanced liquid fee. Agapanthus perform best when root bound, large pots and containers will create this environment.
Propagate by dividing clumps during late spring or early autumn.
