Allium Sphaerocephalon, also known as drumsticks. Robust, Frost Hardy, clump forming perennial. Thrives best in half to full sun, with well drained soil. Purple drumstick like flowers are borne on stems 60cm tall. Perfect for front borders. rockeries and containers. Very easy to grow. best grown in clumps to produce a good impact.

Planting Guide
Plant: Late September to late November. 8 cm deep. Spacing 5-10 cm. Flowers June. Flower Height 60 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Needs well-drained, fertile soil. Full sun or partial shade. Feed with a slow release fertilizer. Ideal for borders, if growing in containers, make sure the bulbs have plenty of root space and feed with a slow release liquid feed, Growmore is ideal.
Propagate by lifting overcrowded clumps in late July, divide the bulbs, store in a cool dark place and replant in the autumn.
