Description
Tulip Blushing Apeldoorn, (Darwin Hybrid). Fully hardy. Perennial. Thrives in full sun or partial shade. The rather striking, large yellow and orange bloom is proudly perched on top of the tall sturdy stem that is able withstand strong wind. Making this variety a good choice for cut flower. They look spectacular planted in groups of single colours.

Planting Guide
Plant: Late October to November. 15 cm deep. Flowers April – May. Height 60 cm
Hardy. Perennial. Requires sun, well-drained soil . Ideal for planting in borders, large pots and containers. Feed with a slow release fertiliser when growing. Once flowers start to fade, dead-head (remove the flower) this will allow the foliage to feed the bulb, if the flowers are left on, the energy will be spent on producing seed and the bulb will reduce in size.
Propagate: By lifting bulbs early summer, once the foliage has completely died back, remove bulblets, and store in a cool dark place until planting time.
