Description
Sternbergia Lutea. Hardy. Perennial. Autumn flowering. These bulbs need a suny location with rich, fertile, well-drained soil. They are perfect for naturalising in the grass or borders. They will produce clumps of vivid yellow flowering during autumn through to winter.

Planting Guide
Plant: September. 15 cm deep. Spacing 10 cm. Flowers late September-November. Height 15 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Clump forming. Needs well-drained, fertile soil. A sunny position is preferred but can cope with a little morning shade. Ideal for planting in grassland, verges and front borders, they can also be grown in pots on the patio.
Propagate: By seed, only lift and separate bulbs when overcrowded.
