Peony, Henry Bockstoce. Hardy. Perennial. Peony Henry Bockstoce is a beautiful hybrid. The eye-catching fragrant glossy red blooms feature a rose center. These plants thrive in sunny spots with fertile, moist, well-drained soil. They usually don’t bloom in the first year as they focus on establishing their roots. You can expect a few flowers in the second year, and by the third year, you’ll enjoy an abundance of sweetly scented blooms. This is an excellent plant that will enhance your garden for years to come.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-April. 2 cm of soil on top of the crown. Spacing 60 cm. Flowers May-June. Height 100 cm
Hardy. Perennial. Needs a sunny location, at least six hours a day. Dig a large hole twice the size of the root, making sure the soil is loose to allow the roots to grow, add compost or organic matter. Plant with roots down leaving the eyes (growing tips) close to the surface, only covering with 2 cm of soil. Peonies can take 1 year to flower after planting.
Propagation: Divide clumps every 3-4 years, lift and replant.
