Description
Ligularia stenocephala, ‘The Rocket’. Hardy. Perennial. This tall plant needs plenty of moisture so ideal for a bog garden, in half sun to half shade. The foliage has interesting large toothed leaves. During the months of July and August tall black stems appear holding bright yellow flowers.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-April with 2 cm of soil on top of the crown. Spacing 3ft. Height 120-140 cm. Flowers July-August.
Hardy. Perennial. Prefers light sun to full shade. Plant in a hole large enough to firmly hold the roots, cover with well rotted manure or rich moisture retaining soil/compost. Needs plenty of moisture. Perfect for those damp shaded areas in the garden. Water regularly during periods of drought.
Propagation: Divide over crowded clumps every 3-4 years.
