Description
Iris Lion King. Fully hardy. Clump forming. Perennial. Commonly known as Dutch Iris or Iris Hollandica. These Iris thrive in full sun with well-drained soil. Perfect for beds, borders and containers. The flowers appear on stems 50-60 cm tall during the months of June and July. Iris always make a magnificent display and look their best when planted in groups of single colour.

Planting Guide
Plant: September to late October. 10 cm deep. Spacing 15 cm. Flowers June. Height 50-60 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. They perform best in the ground, if planting in pots use a large pot no smaller than 7 litres allowing the bulbs plenty of root space. Iris make a magnificent display if planted in groups of single colour. Be careful not to overwater when growing in pots.
Propagate: By dividing clumps when over crowded approximately every 4 years.
