Description
Ipheion Tessa. Hardy. Clump forming. Perennial. Needs fertile, well-drained but moist soil, full sun or light shade. This is a fine bulb for mass planting among shrubs where it can be left to increase into drifts. Also ideal in rockeries, pots or front borders. Produces masses of white star shaped flowers that are sweetly scented. The flowers are sweet-scented.

Plant: September-November. 5 cm deep. Spacing 10 cm. Flowers April-May. Height 10 – 15 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Thrives in full sun or light shade. Needs fertile, well-drained but moist soil. Ideal for mass planting amongst shrubs or in front borders where they can be left to increase into drifts. Also ideal for rockeries, pots and containers. Feed with a slow release fertilizer.
Propagate: By dividing clumps when over crowded approximately every 4 years.
