Description
Gladioli ‘Blue Isle’ Half hardy, perennial. A sunny spot is necessary, with well-drained soil. Gladioli are perfect for herbaceous borders. larges pots and containers. Providing tall heads of bright colour when so many garden plants have finished flowering. A good way to prolong the flowering season is to plant the bulbs in fortnightly intervals which will provide you with a succession of blooms. Excellent for cut flowers.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-May. 10 cm deep. Spacing 10-15 cm. Flowers July-September. Height -120 cm.
Half hardy. Perennial. Prefers a sunny posting with well-drained soil. Feed with a slow release fertilizer during the growing season. Protect over winter with a mulch, or lift the bulbs and store in a cool dry environment.
Propagation: Lift in late October, separate the bulbs, store overwinter and replant late spring.
