Description
Galanthus Nivalis. (snowdrop) Fully hardy. Perennial. Nivalis is slightly smaller than the Elwesii. Plant these bulbs in a dappled shaded area where the soil is moist, under trees, shrubs, front borders, rockeries or pots. The bulbs that we supply are a good size, so will not dry out or fail to grow/flower. We also hand check each individual bulbs to make sure it is firm and up to size. The bulbs are also packed in strong paper bags and kept in a cool dry environment to keep them fresh.

Plant: September to Late October. 8 cm deep. Spacing 10 cm. Flowers January-February. Height 10-15 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Thrives in light shade with moist but well drained soil. It is best to start these bulbs in pots, if you have many to plant use an old window box or crate, once rooted and shooting then plant in the ground. Ideal for naturalising in woodland or grassland, front borders or containers.
Propagate: When leaves are green, lift and replant.
