Description
Erythronium Lilac Wonder (dogtooth-violet). Fully to frost-hardy. Clump forming. Perennial. These plants need partial shade, where the soil is free draining. The flowers are rather striking with their reflexed petals sweeping back like puppy-dogs ears in the wind. Commonly known as dog-tooth violets is due to the oblong shape of the bulb resembling that of a dog’s tooth.
