Description
Dodecatheon Pulchellum ‘Red Wing’. Hardy, perennial. These plants prefer a shady location light of full shade is OK. They need fertile moist soil that is free draining. The dart shaped delicate flowers are produced abundantly above primrose-like foliage. They can be grown in terracotta pots or in the ground.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-April with 6 cm of soil of top of the bulb . Spacing 20 cm. Flowers April-June. Height 30 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Needs a shady location that has moist fertile soil that is free draining. Start the bulbs in pots, once rooted and growing transplant into the garden where they can be left to naturalise. Dodecatheon also look stunning in large terracotta pots.
Propagation: Divide overcrowded clumps every 3 to 4 years.
