Description
Crocus Blue Pearl. Clump forming. Perennial. Thrives in full sun or light shade with well-drained soil. These are the earlier flowering crocus which start to bloom in early February through to March. The flowers are smaller than the Large flowering Dutch crocus and are also slightly scented. They can be used for naturalising under trees, in the grassland, rockeries, beds and borders, and containers. Other bulbs that flower around the same time are snowdrops. eranthis (winter aconites), Cyclamen coum, Dwarf Iris and the Narcissus February Gold.

Plant: September-November. 8 cm deep. Spacing 10 cm. Flowers February-March. Height 15 cm.

Propagate: By dividing overcrowded clumps in June, replant or store in cool dark place until planting time in the autumn.
