Crocosmia Prince of Orange. Clump forming, frost hardy, perennial. Ideal for the herbaceous border, a sunny spot is necessary, with well-drained soil. It is no wonder Crocosmia is an old favourite, providing tall heads of bright colour when so many garden plants have finished flowering.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-April. 8 cm deep. Spacing 15 cm. Flowers July-October. Height 70-100 cm.
Frost hardy. Perennial. Needs a sheltered sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich soil. This clump forming plant is ideal for the herbaceous border and is rightly popular for its late brightly coloured flowers. If choosing to grow in pots feed weekly with a slow release fertilizer.
Propagation: Divide clumps after flowering every few years.
