Allium Cowanii. Sprays of white flowers are borne on stems 40 cm tall. This allium can be grown in a shady location as well as in full sun, but will most certainly be a focal point in the shaded area of any garden providing the soil is well-drained.

Planting Guide
Plant: Late September to late November. 8 cm deep. Spacing 5-10 cm. Flowers June. Flower Height 40 cm.
Hardy. Perennial. Needs well-drained, fertile soil. Full sun or shade. Feed with a slow release fertilizer. Ideal for borders, if growing in containers, make sure the bulbs have plenty of root space and feed with a slow release liquid feed, Growmore is ideal.
Propagate by lifting overcrowded clumps in late July, divide the bulbs, store in a cool dark place and replant in the autumn.
