Allium Christophii. Hardy clump forming perennial. Flowers May-June. This plant is perfect for front borders or large pots and containers. Although the plant is low growing at 50 cm in height, the flowerhead is enormous. When the plant has finished flowering, it dries out very nicely, at this point you can leave the plant in the garden as it looks equally good as it did when it was in flower, or you can use it as a dried cut flower in the home. Allium Christophii also looks fantastic with the Allium Schubertii which is also a low grower with a huge flower head.
