Description
Allium Cristophii. Hardy clump forming perennial. Flowers May-June. This plant is perfect for front borders or large pots and containers. Although the plant is low growing at 50 cm in height, the flowerhead is enormous. When the plant has finished flowering, it dries out very nicely, at this point you can leave the plant in the garden looking equally good as it did when it was in flower, or you can use it as a dried cut flower in the home.

Planting Guide
Plant: late September to late November. 10cm deep. Spacing 25cm. Flowers May-June.
Hardy. Perennial. Needs well-drained, fertile soil. Full sun or half shade. Feed with a slow release fertilizer. Ideal for borders, if growing in containers, make sure the bulbs have plenty of root space and feed with a slow release liquid feed, Growmore is ideal.
Propagate: When bulbs are overcrowded, lift one the flower stem has dried out and comes away from the bulb easily. Separate the bulbs, store in a cool dark place and replant in the autumn.
